Activities & Services

Our social calendar is very popular, and offers a great way to meet and greet.  Every Resident is encouraged to enjoy the in-house activities on offer.

The RJM Hall, situated in the heart of Randjes provides a multi-purpose building, creating a central hive of activity and social interaction which form a huge part of our Resident’s everyday life.  In addition we have a smaller entertainment facility, Rotary Park Hall.  Our library is also situated in this complex.

We encourage our Residents to keep active and involved, and boast a wide variety of diverse activities and services.

We encourage our residents to keep active and there are a variety of activities that we offer.

• We have yoga and pilates classes, an exercise group
  and line dancing which all take place weekly.
• There is a Pool and Snooker table which can be used
  and there are groups that meet on an adhoc basis to play
• Pottery room
• Mahjong
• Wood and metal workshops
• Reading and tape aids and DVD libraries
• Cards can be played at Rotary Hall
• Birding Club on the Estate
• Our chapel has services every Tuesday afternoon
  and a once a month service on a Sunday

• U3A organize talks on different subjects once a month
• Special holidays and seasons are celebrated
• Interesting events and talks are organised throughout the year
• We encourage residents to get together and there are a number
  of groups that meet around shared interests, for instance:
  • Shakespeare group
  • Gardening group who meet once a month to exchange ideas
    and talks are given by experts in the gardening fields
  • Embroidery group
  • Bridge is played by individual groups

We have a variety of services that we offer.

A dining room where you can eat a three course midday meal, family members and friends are welcome.

We have transport available to take residents to hospital and doctors that are within a 15km radius.

Four days a week our combi takes residents to Balfour Park, Norwood Shopping Centre, Killerney Mall

We have a Coffee Shop – Perk – Up on the Estate. Open Tuesday – Saturday 9am – 2pm for light meals.
